President
Hannah Comune
Hannah is a third year studying Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Science in the School of Environment and Natural Resources. She is a Student Instructional Assistant for ENR 3500: Community, Environment, & Development and has sorted Macroinvertebrates in Dr. Lauren Pintor’s Aquatic Sciences Laboratory. Hannah is also the student representative for TerrAqua on Ohio State’s Sustainability Council. She enjoys listening to classic rock, hammocking in the Buckeye Grove, and enjoys procrastinating a little too much. As President, she hopes to continue increasing membership and establish stronger relationships between members, officers, advisors, and professionals.

Rylie MacDonald
Rylie is a fourth year NRM student from Cleveland and she is thrilled to be VP this year! She has spent the summer as a Sea Turtle Intern in North Carolina, and she has also worked as an Animal Husbandry Intern in the aquarium at the Columbus Zoo, and taught marine science as an Environmental Education Intern in Maine. On campus Rylie works in Dr. Gray's Aquatic Physiological Ecology Lab where she is starting her own research project. She’s passionate about the preservation of marine and freshwater ecosystems and is excited for more fun TerrAqua events this year.

Melina Mallory
Melina is a third year from Los Angeles studying Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Science. She is a Water Sustainability Intern with the office of Energy Services and Sustainability as well as a Zero Waste Intern with the Athletics Sustainability department. She has also worked as an intern with the Reef Check Foundation's headquarters in California. Melina enjoys all things outdoors, dumpster diving, and everything related to conserving aquatic ecosystems and providing clean drinking water to all. She is excited to see what this year brings with fun new TerrAqua events.

Eugene Braig
Eugene is a fisheries biologist, is Program Director for Aquatic Ecosystems with OSU Extension, and teaches fisheries management at OSU’s School of Environment and Natural Resources. He represents the state of Ohio on the Mississippi River Basin Panel of the national Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force and the U.S.’s upper Great Lakes region on the governing board of the North American Lake Management Society. Eugene was recently appointed as a Trustee of the Ohio Biological Survey, serves on the Olentangy State Scenic River Advisory Council, is the current Vice President of the Water Management Association of Ohio, and is active with several additional committees/councils and professional organizations. Fully embracing nerd status, he also moonlights as a classical musician and serves as Artistic Director of the Columbus Guitar Society’s concert series.
